I’m no stranger to extravagance (remember 4 Michelin star restaurants in 4 days?) but the most anticipated culinary opening for 2018, 20 million pound Hide restaurant, has set the bar when it comes to luxury.

In this video review (the only one of its kind on the web!) we check out the private dining areas as well as explore the strategy behind the luscious decor of the venue, which has been modelled on a tree – from the expansive staircase, to the varying grades of wood used throughout the restaurant. It even has a car lift for VVIP dining with a separate entrance to avoid those pesky crowds.

Hide restaurant is a joint venture between celebrated British chef Ollie Dabbous and the owners of Hedonism Wines, which means the cellar is stocked with some of the rarest wines on earth.
